'We need to prepare for war'

China's chokehold over U.S. military supplies leaves the West at the mercy of Beijing in the event of an all out war, a former army general has warned.

In an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com, retired U.S. Army Major General John G. Ferrari said he had 'grave concerns' about the America's ongoing reliance on China to equip its military.

Chinese manufacturers are deeply embedded in U.S. defense systems, providing critical technology and raw materials used in everything from air-to-air missiles to fighter jets.

General Ferrari, who served as a deputy commander for NATO in Afghanistan, admitted that Beijing could cripple America's ability to arm itself by cutting off supply lines.

If we went to war with China, we would run out of pharmceutical drugs, shoes, clothes, bicycles, computer parts and just about everything else. I think China and the Mexican Cartels could still get the fentanyl across the border.

Bidette needs to be impeached for not securing the border. Saying it is one thing but doing it is an entirely different ball of wax.

In Trump's case, they were so afraid of him they even tried to impeach him after he was out of office to prevent him from running again. ;)

Chinese have bought the old Waldorf-Astoria hotel in NYC. I heard they plan to turn the top 10 floors into Condos.

I wonder where they will find buyers since most of the wealthy have fled to tax friendly locations such as Florida and Texas. ;)

the old Waldorf-Astoria hotel in NYC

Did photo shoots at the Waldorf, and there was that one time my westside shagadelic girlfriend and I met her eastside spinster aunty for "brunch"(awkward...yes).

This is the Grand Ballroom as I remember it. It had a certain ambiance not captured by a mere photo. And the carpets...had to be pure wool, extremely thick and luxurious throughout the hotel.

I heard rumors that the new owners hacked it up during renovation. Don't quote me.

Were the guests entertained with A Whiter Shade Of Pale wafting across the expanse?

Hmmm...I cannot say for sure...

Oddly enough, I did listen to then former Gov. Hugh Carrey sing "New York, New York" from that stage. He did a good job.

So no Gary Brooker then. In programming class I was in was a gal who played the cello, I asked her to belt out Smoke On The Water, she said she never heard of the song, she turned a whiter shade of pale when I went for the cello saying its easy here I'll show you.

Gary Brooker

Was he a libtard? I mean, if he was, he might have been there, as it was a gala event for libtards.

I have no idea if he was a tory or a whig, he did on occasion hang out with Douglas Adams if that helps.

Class started and from that day forward she never toted that cello to that class. Did I mention she was really pasty white, like the hoof school paste back when LBJ was making his exit from politics.
