If airport emergency crews are that slow, if there was a plane crash full of injured and dying people, it would be they were removed and taken to the hospital. In the meantime the severely injured would be dying like flies.

Not the tire factories, the airline's maintenance workers.

Seems they were at the plane less than 4 minutes from the instant the tire blew out while landing. Doesn't seem slow to me. They have to get the call, suit up, get on the trucks, start the trucks and get to the plane.

I would want to know how many times that tire was on takeoff and landings compared to others.

Should be standard maintenance info.

I recall my AF pilot brother saying that the T-38 trainer had tires with 12 steel belts in them. They would replace the tires when there were only about 6 left.

Not necessarily a case of the tire being defective. Could have been a faulty brake, rim, or other related component.

That and what if any tire air pressure.

True, it could have been flat. Or something on the runway. That's what killed that Concord jet so long ago. But Boeing has indeed had obviously quality problems lately.

There were a number of people killed changing tires because the people who were tasked with deflating the tire didn't so the rims forcibly separate when the nuts and bolts are removed.
