More than 2.2 million people read USA Today and when they turn to Page 2 today (June 8) they will see the Impeach Bush newspaper ad. This ad was a great accomplishment and everyone who made a donation should feel proud. USA Today has 26 regional markets. This ad will run in every single one of them without exception. Today's ad will give the campaign great exposure and reach into new areas of the United States.

In the past we've had full page ads in the New York Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, the Boston Globe and other papers. Today's add allows us to reach the following regional areas: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco - San Jose, Boston, Dallas - Fort Worth, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Detroit, Houston, Seattle-Tacoma, Tampa-St. Petersburg-Sarasota, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Cleveland, Phoenix, Miami-Ft. Lauderdale, Denver, Sacramento-Stockton-Modesto, Orlando-Daytona, Beach-Melbourne, Pittsburgh, St. Louis, Portland (OR), Baltimore, Indianapolis.

Because we were able to order a full circulation ad, this ad will also appear in the USA Today’s international edition.

If you can help us place more newspaper ads and support impeachment organizing efforts you can donate by credit card or by sending a check. Click here to help.

People Are Demanding Impeachment

Millions of people around the country are fed up with Bush and the lawless conduct of the administration and worried about the direction of the country. But they haven't seen an alternative until now. The U.S. Constitution established the mechanism of impeachment precisely as a method to allow the people to hold their government accountable.

Every day brings more horrific confirmation of the reality of Iraq and the massacres of civilians. A United Nations investigative panel has labeled the Guantanamo detention camp a torture center and called for its closure. Article after article brings new revelations about the vastness of the government's lawless spying operation on Americans. Bush and Cheney's cronies in the oil industry are jacking up prices and making record profits while hard working people are being fleeced at the gas pump.

Reaching Every Part of the Country with the Message of Impeachment

The Impeach Bush ad in USA Today reaches not only the major cities but all corners of the country big and small cities, rural towns, and other areas where the impeachment movement is only getting started.Click here to help us place more ads

The consistency of the ImpeachBush.org movement over the past three years has catapulted impeachment into the national debate. In five months there will be mid-term Congressional elections. This can not be a business-as-usual election cycle. This movement is determined to make the impeachment of Bush and Cheney a front and center issue. To do otherwise will make the elections virtually irrelevant.

In addition to putting pressure directly on Congressional representatives, we are taking out more newspaper ads and radio spots, organizing impeachment contingents at anti-war rallies, organizing July 4 impeachment events, collecting paper ballot impeachment petitions as well as promoting the on-line voting and letters to Congress at ImpeachBush.org

This movement can only succeed with the continued financial support and donations from people who believe that impeachment is an absolute requirement. Please click here to make a donation so that we can keep up the nationwide momentum.

July 4 Impeachment Events Will Take Place Across the Country

On July 4th there will be impeachment events around the country. This campaign is designed to provide a low-cost way for people to obtain Impeachment lawn signs and other materials to decorate July 4 cookouts, barbeques and other events and to bring their friends and neighbors into the impeachment campaign. Of course, some people may choose to use these materials at events on other days or distribute them to family and friends. It all helps spread the word and make impeachment a discussion topic in every community.

Only hours after we announced this campaign, we received orders for the July 4 ImpeachBush kits from people across the nation including: Beaver Dam, WI; Weyers Cave, VA; Red Bank, NJ; New York City, NY; Rochester, MN; Martinez, CA; Lynchburg, VA; Los Angeles, CA; Baraboo, WI; Issaquah, WA; Washington, D.C.; Mansfield, OH; Hampton, VA; Chepachet, RI; Port Orchard, WA; Spring, TX ; Cambridge, MA ; San Francisco, CA; Charlotte, NC; Tucson, AZ; Gilroy, CA; Albuquerque, NM; Winthrop, NY; Eugene, OR ; Christiansburg, VA; Napa, CA; Grantsburg, WI ; Cherry Hill, NJ ; Coconut Creek, FL

The July 4th Impeach Bush kit is available at the Resource Center and includes: 5 ImpeachBush Lawn Signs, 2 ImpeachBush.org campaign bumper stickers, 2 Save the Bill of Rights bumper stickers, and 2 Bush Lied Thousands Died bumper stickers.

The cost for this kit is only $50. Plus, for you, as the organizer, we are also including one Bush Lied Thousands Died t-shirt, free with your first kit. This price of the kit and all the materials would normally cost more than $100 at the ImpeachBush Resource Center.

Again, Congratulations to everyone who helped place the Impeach Bush Ad in this morning’s edition of USA Today.

Sincerely,

--All of us at ImpeachBush.org

Thanks for putting this up. I will contribute to the cause. It's good to get this idea out in national publication like USA Today. It's worth fifty bucks just to imagine the reaction of the average bot when he opens up his mornign paper and sees it.
