I want to move out into the countryside and raise my own food. Wheat is bad. It is sprayed with Glyphosate before harvest, so all the plants die at the same time. And wheat turns into sugar in your bloodstream, ditto for potatoes. I want to raise an assortment of grains, sprout them and ferment them to make sour dough bread. Millet is high in fiber and polyphenols.

Which Flour Is The Healthiest? It's Not What You Think

The coarser the better. 19:00 stone ground, ancient whole kamut, spelt 24:00 arrowroot, buckwheat, oat flour, cassava, chickpea. Fewer than 10% of Americans get enough fiber in their diet.

I'll just stick to my tomato and jalapeno plant. I'm a little long in the tooth to become a farm boy. That is, if I had teeth. Damned Texting Woman.

A least I'll have a real tomato for Kimmy this weekend.

(Edit) I should go to the local Kroger Food Collective tomorrow morning to see if they have any food. They didn't have shit last time.

to see if they have any food.

If you have time on your hands, you should make hard cheese (as a prep and a nice hobby).

Just a thought...

I am a near vegetarian but not a vegan. I avoid milk as it is bad for your health. So, no cheese for me. In the country, I would like to get somebody to rase goats for milk and ducks for eggs. Eggs are good for you if the birds are pasture raised and the soil is healthy.

I want to set this up so there are at least 6 couples working together so I can avoid manual labor. I am little bit older even than Esso.

I am a near vegetarian but not a vegan.

I'm a chemicaltarian. I subsist on nicotine, caffeine, ethanol, acetylsalicylic acid (ASA), dividends and SS retirement payments.
