Master of fright, John Carpenter directs this entertaining and darkly humorous horror film. Roddy Piper plays Nada, a down-on-his-luck construction worker who stumbles upon a special pair of sunglasses that reveal an awesome global secret--the ruling elite of the world are actually aliens in disguise, their aim being to keep humans in a state of mindless consumerism. Wearing the glasses, Nada is able to see the secret messages behind all advertising, and he is capable of discerning which normal-looking people are in fact ugly aliens in charge of the campaign to keep humans subdued. Now, the battle is on to free the human race from this secret, subliminal tyranny! Good fun filled with genuine chills and scares and a bitingly satirical assault on our consumer culture, "They Live" is one of Carpenter's finest achievements.

Not a good sign when EweToob plays stuff like this.
If/when we see Russian troops in Istanbul...well...the western nations will 'leave the world behind'.
We used to have a saying in the old days about the Middle East, "Nuke it, pave it and paint it green." That means joos and towelheads alike. Been there, done that.
My interest is domestically. I told everybody that Trump was going to be assassinated. That failed. O'boingo hates the Kameltoe, she's next on the bingo card. Notice how she doesn't go outside much?
I told you that once this got started, they'd have a hard time shutting it off.
Michelle "Big Mike" Obama will be the next Usurper.
The most terrifying force of death comes from the hands of Men who wanted to be left Alone. TRUE TERROR will arrive at these peoples door, and they will cry, scream, and beg for mercy but it will fall upon the deaf ears of the Men who just wanted to be left alone.
Anybody with two brain cells left alive could've spotted Ree Tardy Oswald a mile away. The shooters on the water tower and across the street at the rec center or whatever it was were there to make sure he didn't say "I'm just a patsy!"
MIHOP!

They say that warships and fighter jets are deploying ahead of possible war with Iran.
Look at a topical map of Iran.

When I worked for Illinois State Highways, we had a Foreman that was from Iran. He was so stupid the called him "the brain". When he walked into the day room, they would flip the lights off and on like he was draining power from the system. He thought that was a complement and would do it himself.
One time he stuck his finger under my nose. It smelled like you know what. I cussed him on that one.
When he died, a co-worker went to his funeral. He told me his two daughters were stone foxes. ;)

I told them at one of the local banks about this movie THEY LIVE where Roddy Piper walks into a bank carrying a shotgun. He is wearing those sunglasses so he can see who the aliens are.
He said, "I'm here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and I'm all out of bubblegum." Then he starts to shoot the aliens, a customer, the bank guard and a teller.
I still remember the look on the woman's face at the bank. LOL

I am not one of those weak-spirited, sappy Americans who want to be liked by all the people around them. I dont care if people hate my guts; I assume most of them do. The important question is whether they are in a position to do anything about it. My affections, being concentrated over a few people, are not spread all over Hell in a vile attempt to placate sulky, worthless shits. - William S Burroughs
