According to the Congressional Budget Office, that would Dept of Energy for nuclear weapons, Veterans Affairs for veterans, Treasury, DHS, State Dept,, CIA and Social Security. The Russians have their Krasnopol rocket artillery which can hit a MOVING target 76 Kms (47.33 miles) away. They have a MACH 12 Kinzhal missile that digs a hole 98 feet (30 meters) deep where its target used to be. Their Mach 9 Zircon cruise missile is 12.678 times faster than America's subsonic Mach 0.71 cruise missile. The Ukrainian S-300 air defense system first deployed in 1978 by the Soviets is far superior to our Patriot System. The S-300's range of 300 Kms (186 miles) is 3.72 times ours. The Russians are dropping over 100 Glide Bombs a day on Ukrainian troops. These bombs are 500 Kgs (1,100 lbs), 1,500 Kgs (3,300 lbs) and 3,000 Kgs (6,600 lbs.) The Ukrainians cannot stop these bombs using Patriot missiles as the Russian jets only have to be 15 Kms (9.3 miles) distant when they release them. The Ukrainians have lost more than 500,00 dead and 700,000 seriously wounded. They have been losing 2,000 men a day for the past month. 31 million people live within the borders of the Ukrainian government that is controlled by them. The US population in 2024 is 341,814,420. Divide that by 31 million and get 11.0258. That latter number is what we have to multiply times 500,000, 700,000 and 2,000 to determine in terms of US population the burden most of our politicians expect the Ukrainian people to bear. That would be 5, 512, 903 dead, 7,718, 060 severely wounded with 22,051 dying every day. So why do we listen to the media and the politicians demanding more for Ukraine?
