Though the Russians might want to display some new weapons to make the US and Israel think twice before attempting to escalate again.

I think they will let the Houthis do the heavy lifting and clear the US Navy out of the region. Then the Iraqi militias could force the US Army and Air Force out of Jordan, Syria and Iraq.
