Men like me don't have families for a reason.

My 5 year older sister wanted to be an only child. She hated me. My 2 year younger sister was a severely and profoundly retarded and handicapped Down's Syndrome child, she taught me, and my father compassion and shame.

Hayley's folks took care of her after my mother had a heart attack in 2014 until me and Teri (my now ex-wife) could get her into a government Medicaid waiver home where she had the 24/7 care she needed.

I have four women in my life right now. Dr. Kimmy who's loved me for about 45 years that needs a man, Sling Blade's 13 y/o Squirt that needs a fair shake in life for a change, Hayley's mother that has last stage cancer, and Hayley, that doesn't know that the bad shit in life is about to pour down all over her like molten metal.

I try to be a nice guy. Maybe I'd do better if I grew up, but I'd die.
