Experts of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) recorded the deterioration of the situation with nuclear safety at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. The head of the IAEA Rafael Grossi expressed concern about what is happening at the station. Experts of the agency said high military activity near the ZNPP in the last week.

Today, August 17, a telephone conversation between Rafael Grossi and the head of Rosatom Alexey Likhachev took place. Mr. Likhachev said that today, near the ZhPP, a combat charge was dropped from the Ukrainian drone on the road, which is regularly used by the station personnel. IAEA experts inspected the scene and recorded the damage on the road.
