I lived in Portland just after Mt St Helens erupted. The local TV showed a steady stream of animals walking away from the volcano 2 days before the eruption because the ground under their feet was getting hot. The TV also showed film of humans stupid enough to go the other way towards the volcano.
Animals also can predict earthquakes. One way to predict an earthquake is to see if there is a sudden spike in the number of runaway dogs. I was in San Jose during the Loma Prieta earthquake during the World series in 1989. Local TV showed a fat cop in front of the police desk. The film was a station CCTV. It showed the fat cop being amazed at how fast their police dog whizzed past him going out the front door. Less than 5 seconds later, you see the whole station wobbling during the earthquake.
