Grand Canyon National Park has abruptly closed a host of hotels near the iconic destination just ahead of Labor Day weekend, leaving distraught families in the lurch over their summer vacation plans. Park authorities announced the surprise closures, effective Thursday, citing a 'series of four significant breaks' in the 12.5-mile-long pipe that supplies water to the park - with no end to the disruption in sight. 'Since July 8, the park has faced challenges with water supply, and currently, no water is being pumped to either the South or North Rim,' the National Park Service said. Some might call it treason.. And rightfully so.
Probably a MIHOP to get the sheep ready for the next round of lockdowns.
I not sure they will get a chance for lock downs. The ides of September fast approach bring word of Juan's official writ, either way one side is not going to like the news. Even if the crowds here remain somewhat calm for the outcome they will not when the votes of November are "counted". I don't think Horse will get his much-mentioned food riots per se. A little old nursery rhyme Please to remember, The Fifth of November, Gunpowder, treason and plot; I see no reason why gunpowder treason Should ever be forgot.
