The bakerys owner revealed the latest tally during a news segment that aired Tuesday morning on the local CBS News affiliate just hours before Trump and Harris were set to face off in their long-awaited ABC News debate in Philadelphia and it was not even close.
Youve sold thousands already, and I know youve baked thousands in preparation for tonight, the reporter began. Everyone wants to know: what do the sales maybe tell us about who might win the election in November? Talk to me about sales.
Well, the sales, the red is leading by a lot, she replied. By a lot
the tally was just updated, youre new to see it, but almost by 4,000 cookies.
The totals, according to the boards posted in the shop, said that 4,228 Trump cookies had sold, compared to just 369 Harris cookies.
Thats tremendous. Tremendous for us as a small business to produce this and sell this as well, and see the faces that are coming around to buy these, from all over, she continued.
Just to stress, that is not a typo, the reporter added. Former President Trump with more than 4,000 cookies sold, current Vice President Kamala Harris with only about 400. So the Harris voters have got some work to do if they want to boost their numbers here.
The owner went on to say that there was no political motivation behind the cookie poll but rather, it had been all about driving business.
Im a small business and prices are really high right now, she explained. Were seeing increases daily on eggs and butter and so these help get people in the door.

850,000 population. Only 72.2 % White. But a lot of those are Jewish. This was a bagel shop. I found 12 synagogues listed in the county. Kamala said she supports a Palestinian state so she might lose a few more Jewish votes. And the Muslims are angry with her over the Genocide in Gaza. The Muslims might vote for a Jewish woman- Jill Stein of the Green party.
