Ford has cancelled plans for an all-electric three-row SUV, citing low consumer demand and a crowded electric vehicle (“EV”) market. This decision follows a trend of automakers scaling back their EV production goals due to slower-than-expected sales growth.

Folks between here and Memphis were counting on the development of a new Ford factory to build electric vehicles. I told them it would never be built though hybrids are popular. Might get something like that built around here.

Residents of small Bavarian town PROTEST against plan to establish housing for 500 migrants

According to Remix News, the town of Rott am Inn in Bavaria is seeing wide-scale demonstrations from disgruntled residents. Protesters from Rott am Inn gathered at the district council building in the nearby town of Seeon, expressing disagreement toward the plan to build a refugee accommodation. The planned housing will accommodate 500 migrants, more than 10 percent of the town's population of 4,000.
