Sources close to the IDF suggest the operation could start tonight. Word to me indicates Israel is going to "secure territory up to the Litani River" — about 18 miles from the Israeli border—to establish a “buffer zone” for Israelis to safely return to their northern homes. Several governments, including France, have voiced opposition to an invasion, with Macron recently expressing disapproval.
