Israeli official: "must be significant, & it must come soon." Poster Comment: Iran has a Mach 14 missile which they gave to Yemen. The Houthis built a cheap version of it. The new Houthi missile is Mach 10. Russia made Iran a strategic partner. Iran has been given the Mach 12 Kinzhal which digs a hole 98 feet (30 meters) deep where its target used to be. They have also been given the Mach 9 Zircon cruise missile. The US and the UK Navies still are using subsonic Mach 0.7 missiles. Iran’s Navy has a cruise missile 12.86 times faster than ours. Russia has also upgraded Iran to the S-400 air defense system. The US Patriot system is far worse than the old Soviet S-300 which made its debut in 1978. The Russians also gave them long range radar to eliminate sneak attacks. The Iranians already had developed radar that could detect stealth jets. The Russians gave Iran the Murmansk BN Electronic Warfare system. It jams allied communications thousands of kilometers distant. Previously, the Iranians received SU-35 jets. I assume the Iranians also received the Russian R-37 air to air 400-kilometer range missile. That is 218 miles further than America’s 50-mile range version. Iran has lots of drones and could fire the R-37 before US and Israeli jets got close enough to launch missiles at key Iranian assets. Iran can close the Straits of Hormuz to oil traffic. MSM is saying that the missile attack yesterday was totally ineffective and did no damage. I find that hard to believe.
If you look closely at the nighttime explosions of the missiles, you'll see the flashes light up flat non-descript landscape. Israel says they'll arrest any Israelis who posts pix and videos of missile damage...yeah, okay, whatever. Iran must really hate that empty tract of land just outside of Tel Aviv...
Iran missile attack: what we learned last night [Zerohedge] During the night of 2nd October 2024, Iran unleashed their operation "True Promise 2," launching between 200 and 400 ballistic missiles into Israel. As the video footage coming from Israel has shown, many of these missiles reached their targets inflicting extensive damage on the ground. Apparently, some offshore gas platforms were also struck. Claims and counterclaims are a bit all over the place at the moment: Israelis have claimed that the Iranian attack failed and that most of the missiles were intercepted. Netanyahu's aide Hananya Naftali even tweeted a "BRAVO" to Israel's aerial defence systems for intercepting "nearly all the missiles." But the footage from last night gives a very different impression; it corroborates those who claimed that many missiles hit their targets. A few of the videos also confirm that the Iranians do indeed possess hypersonic missiles. We also know now that these have a long range and seem accurate enough. This lesson alone could be a game changer.
Why wait? If your people are being blown to bits, why not just launch an immediate counterattack, try to stop the carnage. Nah, Israel's hospitals are inundated with the mortally wounded...but one day soon, Israel will knock out a few oil rigs... Can't Israel at least bomb Iran's parliament building. Shouldn't be too hard to find...it's got 𝟑𝟑 windows and shaped like a pyramid. I'll help the IDF out a little...here's a picture of Iran's parliament building. lol

Iran told the US that they would blow up refineries in other countries if Israel took out their refinery. They could also shut down the Straits of Hormuz. But Iran so far did not use their S-400 system to defend themselves. Nor did they use the R-37 air to air missile to knock out jets 400 Kms (268 miles) distant. Nor did they jam Israeli radar and communications using the Murmansk BN. Hezbollah so far has only fired a couple hundred missiles a day. They could fire 4,000 every day for a week and then a month until they shut down the Israeli economy which already sucks. Iran has fired missile at airbases and the like. Iran could go for broke and fire 2 Mach 12 Kinzhal missiles at the Ministry of Defense HQ, a 17 story building that has start up industries located there. Or they could take out Netanyahu's residence with one Kinzhal. Might be a better idea. Bibi is a lot less popular than the army with Israeli voters. Tit for tat. Israel killed Nasrallah.
