A series of Israeli strikes hit Hassia industrial city in the southern countryside of Syrias Homs governorate on October 6, with reports of casualties.
Syrias Al-Watan reported that strikes targeted three vehicles carrying aid close to a car plant in the city. Citing a local official, the pro- government newspaper denied that the plant, which is allegedly owned by an Iranian company, was also targeted.
Iraqi activists claimed that the targeted vehicles belonged to the Iraqi Red Crescent and said that they were distributing aid for refugees from Lebanon. Later, the Sabreen news channel on Telegram, which is close to Iran-backed armed factions in Iraq, reported that the strikes killed a person and wounded three others. The channel didnt clarify if Iraqis or Lebanese were among the casualties.
