Video has resurfaced on social media of White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre talking about FEMA funding for the resettlement of illegal immigrants. The clip flatly contradicts Jean-Pierres denials to the press this week that such funding was being provided by the agency. In a briefing in September 2022, Jean-Pierre was asked how migrants were being transported around the country and supported by the government.
So FEMA regional administrators have been meeting with city officials on-site to coordinate available federal support from FEMA and other federal agencies.
She added: Funding is also available through FEMAs emergency food and shelter program to eligible local governments and not-for-profit organizations upon request to support humanitarian relief for migrants. Well continue to do what we can as a federal government to support these cities as we rebuild our asylum processing system after it was gutted by the Trump administration.

In Sept 2022 the White House said FEMA was distributing funds to cities for emergency food and shelter for migrants and that the Biden-Harris admin would continue to support those cities in this way.
