Very sensitive images, but very REAL images that need to see the light of day. This is why I hate Israel. "God's Chosen People" my ass. Change my mind.

Many of these images are censored even on X for their extreme content, but ... welcome to 4um where reality is permitted!

The Israeli Gal Gadot screen shot is fitting contrasting Wonder Woman's concern about innocent children in a movie set with the real life actress's advocacy of Israel's brutal onslaught.

Sad pictures indeed. But they don't tell the whole story.

Israel is defending themselves. Hamas, Iran, Hezbolah would do the same and worse to Israel if they could.

So they sacrifice their children by firing from schools, hospitals etc.

A nation doesn't have to let their people be attacked and has a right to respond.

Muslims don't want Israel to exist.

I am not saying every picture there is because the muslims hid behind their children and bombed israel from schools, hospitals etc. But i'm sure many are.

Ever see pictures of the holocaust. That is what the Muslims want to do again.

So although it is sad that children are dying. It is Hamas and Irans fault for starting it and still holding hostages.

So it is not right to just blame the victors because they are better at it.

Modern war weapons make it a certainty that the losers will suffer like this.

I don't mean to sound like an ogre or an evil person because I am not.

I'm probably not the best at explaining it there are people smarter than I am who could make a better case than me.

I just thought I would give you the respect of trying to answer your question.

You are a good person and it is understandable that those images would disturb any reasonable good person.

So maybe I don't really have the answer.

Mankind can and does do cruel things to each other.

I'll add this. Just because they are Gods chosen people doesn't mean that they do right all the time. Maybe it means that God chose them to deliver his message to mankind and give us the Bible and Jesus.

I'll leave it at that. I don't really want to get into a contentious debate about it. Just trying to give you some respect.

Take care.

Israel is defending themselves.

Sure they are. They were doing this for years just for sport.

They made or allowed Oct. 7 to happen just so they could go hog wild and play the victim.

That you're too stupid to see that speaks volumes.

Or maybe you are like them and get off on it.

You like it when the muslims attack Israel. Just like you probably cheered when Iran took American hostages.

You talk like a foreigner. If you are you should go back to your muslim hellhole.

If you are really an American you are a weird one. Very strange.

That is propaganda from MSNBC feeling sorry for a mass murdering terrorist who reaped what he has sown.

They lied about colonization. The land is Israel and it is less than 1 percent of the Middle East.

The Palestinians are really Jordanians and Egyptians.

The Palestinians need to quit occupying Israel, go home to Egypt or Jordan and release the hostages.

If they keep firing on Israel from schools and hospitals they will die and they put their families at risk.

Israel has a right to exist on all the land the GOD gave them. Yes God.

So this will go on and on.

Why does Hamas still have hostages?

Your position is someone takes your people hostage and you can't do anything about it and you are responsible if the hostage takers fire missiles from you schools, hospitals. It is not a reasonable position.

Yes people die in war. Israel has rightly decided they aren't going to take it anymore.

That is my view and it is the right view.

I wish Iran (who took American hostages) would just realize that they are evil dictators who make women put bags on their heads or kill them. Would repend and quit funding this nonsense. But they wont because they worship the pedophile murderer Mohammad.

Iran and Israel were friends before the Muslim kooks took over.

No asshole. Any idiot can paste a picture and claim they alive. The encyclopedia and sources I have posted to you says they were wiped out. Just like the Bible says.

Only an idiot who posts a shield and says stop lights are red and that proves Edom exists would think something like that. In other words you moron.

I already had this discussion with you. You are to senile and forgetful to remember it obviously. You lost the debate as you offered zero documentation for your assinie claims.

The Bible says God will deal with Edom "In that day..." Obadiah v.8

"In that day" refers to the last days, the time of judgment.

How could they be extinct? Are you calling God a liar?

The Bible says God will deal with Edom "In that day..." Obadiah v.8

"In that day" refers to the last days, the time of judgment.

Why do you say it refers to the "last days"? Seriously I would like to know. "That day" seems to be referring to whatever time vs 7 is talking about. Can you explain?

7 All the men of thy confederacy have brought thee even to the border: the men that were at peace with thee have deceived thee, and prevailed against thee; they that eat thy bread have laid a wound under thee: there is none understanding in him.

8 Shall I not in that day, saith the Lord, even destroy the wise men out of Edom, and understanding out of the mount of Esau?

"In that day" is used some 253 times and is generally defined by the context.

Check out this link: https://bible.knowing-jesus.com/phrases/In-that-Day

With Obadiah you would need to reconcile the usage with other prophecies, and the evidence you clearly see happening before your eyes.

I've explained all of this to you but you reject it.

"in that day" in Obadiah is talking about what ever happened in verse 7.

It doesn't say in latter days or the last days.

It was talking about verse 7.

Here are some examples where "in that day" is not talking about the end times. Just a handful of examples.

Exodus 8:22 And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am the Lord in the midst of the earth.

And Pharaoh said unto him, Get thee from me, take heed to thyself, see my face no more; for in that day thou seest my face thou shalt die.

And thou shalt shew thy son in that day, saying, This is done because of that which the Lord did unto me when I came forth out of Egypt.

Then the priest shall reckon unto him the worth of thy estimation, even unto the year of the jubile: and he shall give thine estimation in that day, as a holy thing unto the Lord.

Ok there are a few examples to make my point.

Now back to Obadiah. Here are the verses.

All the men of thy confederacy have brought thee even to the border: the men that were at peace with thee have deceived thee, and prevailed against thee; they that eat thy bread have laid a wound under thee: there is none understanding in him. Shall I not in that day, saith the Lord, even destroy the wise men out of Edom, and understanding out of the mount of Esau?

So can you show me how you tie that to after the millennial reign? I don't think you can. You have to just pretend it seems to me. If you can it is your job as a "watchman" to prove it. For me and the lurkers.

I will listen to what you say and read the verses truthfully like I always try to do.

I know you said you wouldn't respond to a cut and paste. But you gave me some links to look at which is basically a cut and paste.

So please take a look at this. Here is an explanation. It seems logical to me. If there are some errors please tell me and the lurkers where they are. I thank you in advance. I'm just looking for the truth and I genuinely think you are wrong. If you would like to discuss things civilly we can do that. Or you can go the other way. Whichever you choose is how I will respond to you from this day forward.

When were Obadiah’s prophecies against Edom fulfilled (Obadiah 1:18-20)? translate prophecies against Edom audio Answer

A major factor in determining when Obadiah’s prophecies against Edom were fulfilled rests on when the book was written. The prophet mentions a recent invasion of Jerusalem (1:10-11), which helps to narrow down the date of writing. Jerusalem experienced four different invasions in Old Testament times, yet only two fit the time period under discussion in Obadiah. The early date would be about 841 B.C., when the Philistines and Arabians attacked Jerusalem during the reign of King Jehoram (2 Chronicles 21:16-17). The later date would be approximately 586 B.C., following the invasion of Babylon (2 Kings 24-25).

If the earlier date is correct, Obadiah would be the earliest of the prophetic books in the Old Testament. Those who hold this position refer to 2 Kings 8:20, which mentions Edom setting up its own king: “In his days Edom revolted from the rule of Judah and set up a king of their own.” Also used to support this date are comparisons of 2 Chronicles 21:16-17 with Joel 3:3-6 and Obadiah 1:11-12; as well as similarities between Obadiah 1:1-9 and Jeremiah 49:7-22.

If the later date is correct, the prophecy of Obadiah regarding Edom’s doom is more dramatic. Babylon completed its invasion of Jerusalem under King Nebuchadnezzar in 586 B.C. In the fifth century B.C., a people called the Nabateans defeated the Edomites and forced them from the city of Petra. The interval between prediction and fulfillment would, therefore, have been very short.

Regardless of the exact date, the predictions against Edom have already been fulfilled. Edom was removed from its land in the fifth century B.C., and there are no survivors of Edom today. This fulfilled the prediction in Obadiah 1:18: “They shall burn them and consume them, and there shall be no survivor for the house of Esau.” Some first-century leaders, such as Herod the Great, still traced their ancestry to Edom, but all mention of Edomites fades after the Jewish Wars of that era. At the end of the 4th century, Jerome referenced the land of Idumea (Edom), but the people of the region had long since disappeared.

Obadiah is yet to be fulfilled.

The false messiah will destroy Edom in the next year or so. As they try to escape Jerusalem people in the surrounding areas of their escape route will stand along the roads and hack them down as they pass, just as Edom did to the Israelites as they tried to escape (probably from the Babylonians) back in the Old Testament days.
