Those Russian warships might be in a position to accept targets from a Russian AWACS plane. Those targets would be an Israeli strike force with planes carrying rockets to attack Iranian radar and others carrying rockets to attack Iranian IRGC infrastructure. Also, a good target would be the refueling plane.
Those planes with the attack rockets will do maybe a fifth of the damage 180 Iranian missiles did on October 1st, assuming the that Murmansk BN Electronic Warfare system allows them to hit their targets.
How long will these joint drills between Russia and Iran last.?
Iran had announced drills with the Saudis and Egypt. Egypt will likely join BRICS in 2025. The Saudis don't want Iran to blow up their oil industry if Israel does so to Iran.
