After the U.S. nuked Japan to end the war, all the weapons in storage on Iwo Jima, 4 and 5 pallets high, were put on two ships. One went to Pyongyang and the other to Hanoi. They were sending them the guns to start the next two wars. The French were defeated at Dien Bien Phu by American weapons.
