Boebert opted to run in a new district this year after winning her 2022 race by only 546 votes

Rep. Lauren Boebert, the polarizing congresswoman from Colorado, won a House seat in a new district after opting to seek reelection in a more firmly Republican area.

She defeated Democratic nominee Trisha Calvarese, a former speechwriter for the AFL-CIO.

Boebert, 37, who eked out a shockingly close win in Colorado’s 3rd District in 2022, decided to boost her chances at securing a third term by running in the much redder 4th District this year.

Blizzard Warning issued as potentially historic winter storm slams New Mexico, Colorado

The FOX Forecast Center reports that the storm will pummel the mountains of New Mexico with extreme snow not seen in November in years.

It's expected to cause impossible travel conditions along Interstate 25 and Interstate 40 in New Mexico heading into Saturday.
