A DDOS attack is the easiest attack there is, consisting merely of massive numbers of robots simply requesting the host site for web pages. This overloads the host server with page requests eventually causing it to fail.

An 8th grader could do it. No data is lost with DDOS attacks.

Basically, yes. Though due to a setup issue on the server with minimal memory available, the capacity for 4um was a bit small so it wasn't hard for the server to blow out.

But with a fix from my sys admin friend, there's not been any more probs.
