Cher has reneged on her bold claim that she would quit the US if Donald Trump was re-elected, as she is happily settled with her young boyfriend.

The music icon, 78, has been dating 38-year-old Alexander 'AE' Edwards for two years, after first confirming their romance in November 2022.

Speaking to the Guardian last October she said she would have to leave the States if Trump got elected - citing her health as a key reason.

But now, the legendary singer has decided to stay put as she is 'so committed' to Edwards and does not want to take him away from his young son.
