I'm convinced that Christians will not wake up until they are standing at the judgment seat of Christ.

Christians believe they can pray for Israel to do whatever evil they need to do to bring the anti-Christ, then they (the Christians) will escape all the chaos through the pre-tribulation rapture.

Here's an example of a rapture channel...

This guy's name is Chad Thomas. He started announcing the imminent rapture of the Chruch about 10 years ago. When it became obvious that his prediction was not happening, he would disappear, delete his videos...then, a year or two later, reappear when world events heated up again.

Chad's train of thought extends all the way up to the highest positions of, for example, prestigious Dallas Theology seminary.

The Bible clearly states that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. So, why weren't the 1st Century Christians "raptured" instead of being eaten by the lions or pulverized to death by gladiators ?

There surely may be a final chapter and a return of Christ after the tares are cast into the lake of fire. Then the wheat shall be harvested and taken to the storehouse.

Humans are able to rationalize shit however best suits them and their condition. God is not a liar like man.

The rapture is merely a function of the resurrection.

Why didn't the resurrection occur in the 1st century? God has taken His time in building His family (His kingdom). Many souls have been added to the kingdom in 2000 years.
