The SpaceX president says they could easily see 400 Starships blasting off in the next four years.

Rocketing towards the final countdown for their sixth Starship liftoff, SpaceX's Gwynne Shotwell aired some company insights at a financial summit on Friday. Chatting about their astronomical Starlink ambitions, she hinted that Elon Musk's rocket is set to switch gears from trial blasts to full-throttle ventures. The second longest tenured employee, after her tech billionaire boss, Ms Shotwell has been with the company since just a few months after its founding in 2002.

She revealed that SpaceX now has 15,000 employees, about three times as many as the company had just six years ago, and has increased its value more than 20 fold over the last decade, to £202 billion ($255bn).

Poster Comment:

SpaceX is going IPO which would make Musk $100 billion richer.

Anyone who would tell you that this is real is capable of unimaginable atrocities.

That's a bunch, one every four days.

TRUE TERROR will arrive at these people’s door, and they will cry, scream, and beg for mercy…
but it will fall upon the deaf ears of the Men who just wanted to be left alone.”

Hundreds of people saw this happen.

Well, then, hundreds of people are lying...

Newton's laws of motion cannot be broken:

Newton's First Law of Motion states that an object in motion tends to stay in motion unless an external force acts upon it.

Newton's Second Law of Motion states that when a force acts on an object, it will cause the object to accelerate.

Newton's Third Law of Motion states that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Nothing about SpaceX seems beyond believability for me. The booster landings are a very impressive achievement, and catching the heavy booster is extremely impressive thing, but if there is evidence they are not real, then I'm all ears.

I did consider some arguments against the moon landing but I found them all to be insufficient.

I'm not clear on how you seem to say Newton's laws are somehow violated.

Here's the force need to put a massive rocket into motion...

The amount of force needed to 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩 a massive rocket from hurtling to earth...exponentially beyond anything you could imagine.

That little blue flame coming out of the bottom of the SpaceX rocket...foolishness.

The size of even the heavy lift booster should not be conflated with its mass/weight. Upon launch, it's full of fuel, I've heard up to 600 tons worth, but on return, in can be expected to be close to empty. It looks big and is big, but at the point when it's caught upon return, it's basically a huge empty tin can with minimal fuel on board and doesn't way anything near what it did at liftoff. Basically the empty shell with just the 35 Raptor motors.

That's my view, at least.

But VTOL looks so cool in a space ship!!!! IT has to be real it just HAS TO BE because , you know, it looks so fake!

Snark aside, I get that those things are going up and down on my screen and I get that people are watching them... what I dont get is how the math plays out because that is alot of extra weight in fuel and alot of silly maneuvesr imho

and Ive never seen any of them water landings pass that pass my sniff test.

His Boring company is of much more interest to me. DMUBs thats where its at.

Which would you (and a couple of buddies) rather do:

Push Esso's work truck 1 mile up a slight grade...

Or...

Catch Esso's runaway smart car coasting down the same grade at say 30 mph?
