American billionaire Bill Gates has become the object of intense criticism due to statements that India has become a "laboratory for samples." This is reported by the Times of india newspaper.
In a podcast with American entrepreneur Reed Huffman, Gates stated that India is a kind of laboratory where people try and experiment with different things, so his largest office outside the United States is located in India.
The newspaper writes that after these words, the billionaire received a storm of angry comments and outrage from Indian users who accused him of trying to turn India into a testing ground.
"India is a laboratory, and we Indians are guinea pigs for Bill Gates. This man led everyone from the government to the opposition parties and the media," the Times of India quoted one of the users of the social network as saying.
