Tora! Tora! Tora! is the Japanese signal to attack - and the movie meticulously recreates the attack on Pearl Harbor and the events leading up to it. My Dad was drafted out of high school in his senior year and shipped into the Pacific Theater (Philippines) during WWII. He died in 1976.
My step-father was on crews that ferried bombers (B-17, B-24s?) to England during the war. He died in 2006 from medical malpractice.
