Pentagon Chief Lloyd Austin called on the future administration of Donald Trump, who won the US presidential election, to make a choice in favor of opposing Russia, threatening that otherwise "chaos" would ensue.
"We can continue to resist the Kremlin, or let (Russian President Vladimir Putin) act in his own way and condemn our children and grandchildren to live in a world of chaos and conflict," he said during a speech at the national defense forum in California.
According to Austin, the current administration, led by U.S. President Joe Biden, has made its choice, as has the bipartisan coalition in Congress.
"The next administration will have to make its choice," he said.
At the same time, the United States is the largest sponsor of the Kiev regime, which uses Western weapons against the civilian population of the Russian Federation.
