Senator Rick Scott has taken a stand against China’s garlic imports with the bold “Stopping Eating Waste And Guarantee Excellence for Garlic Assurance and Regulatory Legislation to Inhibit Chinese Imports Act of 2024” — or the SEWAGE GARLIC Imports Act. The bill targets the importation of garlic from China, citing disturbing reports that the garlic is grown using raw human sewage, a practice that poses grave health and safety risks. This isn’t just a simple food issue; it’s a public health crisis.

Poster Comment:

I refuse to eat Chinese raised food, especially garlic.

I managed to get 130 garlic cloves in just before the ground froze.

In the spring I'll toss fresh cow manure onto the garlic bed...just to give 'em that boost they need to grow nice bulbs.

This year, it was very difficult to find garlic for planting. I had a poor season in 2024 and apparently everyone else did too.

And Senator Rick Scott wins the Acronym Of The Year award...omg

That is clled "night soil" and the Chinese have used it to fertilize fields for very long time.

Night soil is a mixture of human and animal waste and our flyers during WW II ended up in fields of it after bombing Japan. ;)

Have you tried aging garlic? It makes it 5 times stronger. And it tastes great. When I move to a rural area, I want someone to raise a lot of garlic and age it. It will be a key factor in making the community healthy after our healthcare system collapses.

You can buy an Asian appliance that ages garlic for about $1000 online. Aged garlic prevents heart disease, kills bacteria and improves the gut biochrome.

The Asian appliance is quicker - 8 days vs 3 weeks.

Braggs Apple Cider was taken over by a conglomerate. Do not buy their product. I think the better product is Krkland's (Sp?)

It took me about 20 years to figure out that secret flavor the local Mexican restaurant was adding to their rice was garlic. Tasted great, but I had always associated garlic with oregano.

The important question is whether they are in a position to do anything about it. My affections, being concentrated over a few people, are not spread all over Hell in a vile attempt to placate sulky, worthless shits.” - William S Burroughs
