The Sultan is already annexing Damascus and Aleppo: they will become "our" provinces.
I'd have to agree that I don't see how Syria, given how it's been taken over by so many factions like a giraffe that's being eaten by so many predators, will ever come back. Seems more likely surrounding factions, including Israel, will slice and dice Syria up and Syria will cease to exist. That seems most likely. Maybe the Kurds will get their own country, except that Turkey won't take kindly to that.
What Israel takes will become it's new border. Please... Israel already has a track record of setting up illegal settlements in the West Bank. They'll do it in Syria too. And Lebanon, as soon as they are able. It's what they teach their young.

The Kurds want to claim parts of Iraq and Syria, not to mention Turkey and set up Kurdistan. The Turks of course consider the Kurds to be seditionists. ;)

Israel will take the smallest piece. They just want a secure border.
Golan Heights was the last piece. Have you not not noticed a pattern inre Israeli expansionism? Yikes, man, they control the entire US Congress. And The New Republic magazine for crying out loud!
I am not one of those weak-spirited, sappy Americans who want to be liked by all the people around them. I dont care if people hate my guts; I assume most of them do. The important question is whether they are in a position to do anything about it. My affections, being concentrated over a few people, are not spread all over Hell in a vile attempt to placate sulky, worthless shits. - William S Burroughs
