The widow woman decided to keep the ranch in operation after her husband passed. It wasn't a big spread but too large for her to work alone so she advertised for a ranch hand. Two men applied for the job, one an old cow hand who was very capable and a homosexual who also knew the ins and outs of working a ranch.
