Maybe we should define our terms; we should remember the name Israel STARTED with Jesus. It's one of His many names. It was the preincarnate Jesus who wrestled with Jacob, and who changed Jacob's name to Israel.

The Old Covenant was done away, as prophesied by Jeremiah. We're under the New Covenant now.
