The Biden-Harris Administration reportedly paid Reuters more than $300 million to investigate and scrutinize Elon Musks companies, according to Mike Benz, Executive Director of Foundation for Freedom Online.
Benz shared the details in a post on X (formerly Twitter), alleging that the payments were part of an effort to undermine Musks reputation and diminish his influence.
The discovery has raised significant concerns about the relationship between the federal government and media organizations.
Benzs claims point to a troubling alliance where taxpayer dollars were allegedly used to fund investigations targeting Musk, who has been an outspoken critic of the Biden-Harris administration and a prominent figure in free speech advocacy.
