The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for 2025 has once again sailed through Congress, this time with an eye-watering price tag of $895 billion. While the bill passed with overwhelming bipartisan support — 85- 14 in the Senate and 281-140 in the House — its sheer size and scope raise serious questions about the priorities of the Biden administration and lawmakers.

Poster Comment:

That $895 billion is not the total MIC spending. Other agencies spent $621 billion on the military last year so the total next year is $1.6 trillion plus. Veterans Affairs, Dept of Energy (nuclear weapons), DHS, DIA, CIA, State Dept and Social Security.

UBS Forecast Has Bad News on Inflation, Good News for Gold

Recent forecasts predict a resurgence in inflation – and many believe the Fed is considering a higher-for-longer rate of inflation as the “new normal.” That’s just one reason analysts are anticipating gold will hit $3,000 in the months ahead…

HOAs Are RUINING Affordable Neighborhoods!

The Harvester Community Association (Actually the Eastwood Addition) tried that in my hood back in 2016. It was $25 per year or something. They sent my check back. I was the only one who actually paid. $25 is no skin off my nose.

My good house (villaminium, like a condominium, but you owned it) in Georgetown Place, that I lost in the divorce ten years ago), was a different story. I think the yearly dues were about $1,000/year, not including the yard maintenance fees (mandatory).

The new owners told me the dumbass ex sold the joint for $129,000, half the going rate in that area, and it was 100% handicap accessible. Hell, I'd have given the dumb bitch and her new ghey, male, pediatric nurse husband, cash for it. It's probably worth a million, maybe more, the way Prez Pedo fucked up housing.

I sold the new owners all the spares, RO filters, whole house water filters, HVAC motors, caps, UV bulbs, etc, for a dime on the dollar and washed my hands of it. Part of the game is knowing when to bow out.

I explained the systems to them them the best I could, the vent-free fireplace conversion that actually put heat into the house rather than sucking it out, the two generator transfer switches, one for the house, one for the A/C, etc.

Man, I had that fuckin' place dialed in. I can't imagine what the property taxes are now. Good riddance.

FWIW, an ex GF who probably follows my ex-wife on FB or whatever, told me that she's already divorced the ghey eye candy nurse and moved on to another dirtbag who will steal half her money again in awhile.
