During an appearance on CNNs The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer, Scaramucci warned Musk about the dangers of Potomac fever and meddling in the political arena. Scaramuccis comments carried a patronizing undertone, cautioning Musk that Washington has an immunological system capable of neutralizing individuals who disrupt the status quo. In what can only be described as a veiled threat, Scaramucci advised Musk to lay off the gas on politics or risk being targeted by the political establishment. Transcript: Scaramucci: Well, listen, hes got a very powerful role. Hes got a $44 billion megaphone. Hes got over 200-plus million followers. And, Wolf, he was instrumental in that election. The stuff that Elon Musk did in Pennsylvania alone, I think, helped the President win that election. So he has a very big voice. I think the problem for Elon Musk, though, is hes got a little bit of Potomac fever. And so you think youre going to go to Washington and change Washington thats Potomac fever. And the weird thing about Potomac fever is one of the symptoms is you dont know you have Potomac fever. And, of course, I have had Potomac fever, Wolf. So Im speaking as a former patient thats been afflicted with the disease. So hes just got to be very, very careful because hes making enemies that he doesnt realize. And the incentives in Washington are totally different than those in business. Everybodys incentivized in a different and sometimes irrational way. And I think the power that hes wielding right nowWashington has a great immunological systemand I think theyll find a way to rebut him. I would say to Elon Muskhe wouldnt listen to mebut stick to business. Youve done great. Youve made a couple of hundred billion dollars since the election. Lay off the gas on politics a little bit because these people could hurt you, and theres no need for you to get hurt. His first thought isn't to be cowed, but instead to laugh. Elon Musk @elonmusk · Replying to @EricLDaugh and @WesternLensman Can he do the fandango like in that Queen song? Western Lensman @WesternLensman Shades of Chuck Schumer: "You take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you. Even for a practical, supposedly hard-nosed businessman, hes being really dumb to do this." https://x.com/i/status/1871383068847812819 The Truth of 911 Shall Set You Free From The Lie
