Well, I lied, I can't pick out any guitar licks, I might be able to pick out a few notes of a lick. :) But I try to avoid the antagonistic arpeggios.
I never learned to read music not even clef notes.
I am a retard born with Arthrogropsis crippling my hands but I need to make music so I bought a Loog-x_Fender 3-string meant for small children because I thought I might be able to learn to play a bit. No dice, fingers just don't bend enough to make chords. So I started playing bottleneck...
I noticed right away when I started relearning that fretting with my right hand is next to impossible due to the broken bones. That and my pasty whiteness won't let any rhythm out, the drummer on the Alice Cooper song Song That Didn't Rhyme kinda thing.
That's why I felt Slide was my only choice. :) But I can still be top notch drummer, right? I can count to 4! :)
