Sensitive U.S. Data and Intelligence Databases are Being Handled by Underpaid Workers in India

In an alarming revelation sent to The Gateway Pundit by a reader who wished to remain anonymous, a former Senior QA Analyst for TransUnion has detailed how the company’s outsourcing policies, reliance on H1B visa workers, and mandatory DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) training have systematically displaced American tech workers—including those working on critical U.S. intelligence databases.

The anonymous source, who worked in the intelligence database sector for over 17 years, revealed how their role evolved from an entry-level assistant to a senior analyst responsible for training law enforcement officers and overseeing the quality assurance of highly sensitive databases.

These restricted systems are used by local, state, and federal law enforcement, as well as other government agencies, for intelligence gathering and investigative purposes.

Yet despite their extensive experience and dedication, the whistleblower’s position was ultimately eliminated as TransUnion shifted operations offshore to India.

The whistleblower disclosed that TransUnion moved thousands of U.S.- based jobs to offices in Chennai and Pune, India, leaving sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and critical intelligence databases in the hands of foreign workers.

He told The Gateway Pundit:

“During my career in this field working for most of the top companies in this sector, I started out in an entry level position assisting agents and users with interpreting search results and data.

After much hard work, I was promoted into a senior position where I trained law enforcement officers, became the main point of contact for specific agencies, and ultimately promoted as a QA Analyst testing these databases for new searches, and code changes before being deployed.

In recent years, I worked for TransUnion as Senior QA Analyst testing their restricted databases until we were informed that our positions were going to be eliminated as TransUnion opened offices in Chennai and Pune India.

While TransUnion had large base of H1B employees working in almost every field here in the U.S., TransUnion began laying off thousands of its American employees after training their foreign replacements.

In essence, TransUnion offshored thousands of positions to India who are paid ten times less. Bear in mind, this restricted database which contains highly sensitive data and PII data on every American citizen is now being developed and tested by workers in India.

More shockingly, the U.S. intelligence community that uses this database has no idea. I cannot begin to stress how alarming this is.”

The whistleblower’s career faced a second blow with TransUnion’s rollout of mandatory DEI training.

“These courses, he says, were “toxic and divisive” and required employees to affirm ideologies that conflicted with his religious beliefs. When he sought a religious exemption, the company ignored his request.

I was reassigned to different positions due to my prior performance, however, this was to be short lived. TransUnion instituted mandatory D.E.I. trainings on “Unconscious Race Bias” and “Conscious Equity Bias”.

Aside from being toxic and divisive in nature, this mandatory training discriminated against my civil rights as it requires participants to affirm to ideologies that violated my religious conscience. I requested a religious exemption to the training and was never provided with one.

Failure to complete mandatory training will result in termination and/or disciplinary actions. I was forced into a position where I had to submit a formal two-week notice prior to the deadline of the training which equates to constructive discharge. In my resignation, I specified it was due to the mandatory D.E.I. training.

TransUnion terminated my employment less than 48 hours after my two-week notice was received, I was never contacted by human resources to resolve this matter, and I was never offered an exit interview customary for all TransUnion associates.”

The whistleblower’s fight didn’t end there.

When he applied for unemployment benefits, TransUnion allegedly retaliated by submitting false documentation claiming the employee never requested a religious exemption.

“Later on, I filed for unemployment as I sought other job opportunities. TransUnion retaliated against me by submitting official documentation falsely stating that I never requested a religious exemption to the training and would have been granted had I requested it. This is a bold- faced lie.

I possess all the evidence of everything, which includes my emails, screen captures, the course materials on the mandatory D.E.I. training, all of it.

I submitted this to the Florida Department of Commerce where TransUnion changed their story and falsely stated my religious exemption request was approved prior to my resignation which is not only contrary and conflicting to their previous claim, they terminated my employment without ever contacting me.”

Now unemployed and facing hurdles in finding a new role in a tech industry dominated by outsourcing, the whistleblower is pursuing legal action.

His case is under review by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), with plans to take the matter to federal court.

“As it stands right now, I am going through the process with the EEOC conducting a substantial weight review in order to obtain a right to sue in the federal courts.

While standing up for my beliefs has cost much burden, undue stress, hardships, and difficulty in finding another job, the H1B Visa program and offshoring of American jobs has only added to this difficulty in the tech industry.

I would ask that you consider reporting on TransUnion mercilessly eliminating U.S. employees by the thousands and replacing them us with less skilled cheap foreign labor for an intelligence database which contains PII and highly sensitive data on every American citizen and used by almost every three letter U.S. agency that exist.”

The Gateway Pundit reached out to TransUnion for comment on these allegations.
