I’m American, college educated and went to public schools and I NEVER was taught about the evil of the Occupation of Palestinian by the Israeli IOF group. I never heard of the Nakba of 1948, I never knew Israeli soldiers massacred Palestinians and dragged them from their homes executing them if they resisted. Then 750,000 were forced to march on foot from the north to the south so that Jewish settlers could steal their homes and land. In 1948!!! Like this was normal??? Watched the documentary Tantura and heard Israeli soldiers describe the horrors that they inflicted on Palestinians including throwing a baby into a bakers oven. They were laughing about it. I never knew that Israel limited the water supply to Palestinians or that Palestinians are living under an apartheid system with different roads, they have to travel on and dozens of checkpoints. I never knew that there were two sets of legal systems, one for Israeli and one for Palestinians. I never knew that the Israeli IOF routinely arrest and take hostage Palestinian children and detain them indefinitely without their parents, knowing where they are.
