The Chinese have missiles that can take out all US and Taiwanese ships within 800 Kms. They have rockets with heavy payloads that can take out all jets and missiles in caves.
They have missiles that can take out all surface military positions. After 5 minutes of battle, they can pause and offer surrender terms. If not, then they can do a second barrage and then send loitering drones over Taiwan to take out anything that remains.
China is moving horizontally against the US by giving Yemen anti-ship missiles and other gifts to take out the US fleet. Yemen has suspended operations for the duration of the ceasefire. But Israel violates their obligations all the time. The Yemenis will convince the US Navy that the only path to survival will be to abandon Taiwan.
