With all the discussion in the news lately about elephant independence movements, rain and snow, and overthrowing the established order, I have to ask myself it it more humane to let stray pets freeze to death or bloop them with a kibble full-o-ketamine?

I for one would rather nod off than have my lungs evacuated in my final moment after suffering endless torment as a stray.

Depends on the circumstances...

It's fairly straight forward where I live.

Stray/lost cats and dogs get eaten by coyotes about 100% on the time. Gruesome, to be sure.

In places where nature cannot "take its course"...I think it's best to euthanize a stray animal.
