Guest says Big Bang is Nonsense

The Big Bang Theory is the rejection of God.

1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

2 The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.

3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

--Psalm 14:1-3

So Tucker's guest is correct...the Big Bang Theory is nonsense...foolishness.

Even more so for the Theory of Evolution.

The Big Bang Theory is the rejection of God.

Why?

The Big Bang theory basically embodies the very words of Genesis: "Let there be light". Does in not?

Why would you denigrate any scientific explanation for whatever method by which our universe was created? Is it a foregone conclusion that the creation of the universe was done with some form of divine magic that can never be understood in any way?

Actually, the big bang theory does not embody the words "Let there be light"

The big bang theory begins with matter already in existence, super compressed by gravity, which then explodes.

In the Genesis account God speaks the universe into existence...ex nihilo...out of nothing.

A personal, knowable God vs. "some form of divine magic"

This is the debate.

Not necessarily. And in fact, I don't think that's the theory at all as it implies a super compressed mass pre-existed the BB. Given the current belief that space and time are related, I understand the BB theory to mark the creation of both.

It is reasonable to believe the universe was created by some means, and it could have been created by some event that happened in an alternate dimension, something outside of this universe. We could call that event an act of God, which is fine, so it doesn't mean the BB theory is rejecting God.

But in any event, & more to the point, we can agree we DO exist and the universe we are in DOES exist. If the BB theory is eventually rejected by scientific community and an alternate theory put int its place, would you necessarily reject that theory as well, just because it is a product of man?

Also, why does being wrong in scientific understanding of a matter equate to rejecting God? We are all wrong about various things in life.

From NASA.gov...

The big bang is how astronomers explain the way the universe began. It is the idea that the universe began as just a single point, then expanded and stretched to grow as large as it is right now—and it is still stretching!

At NASA, they describe the universe beginning from a single point.

NASA, by the way, told us they went to the moon...but can't go back again because they lost the data on how they did it.

A few years ago we were told to "trust the science".

Well, I rejected the science, for many reasons, none of them particularly Biblical.

I rejected the science because I did not trust the ethics of the scientists, nor did I trust the intentions of those who were behind the scientists...the CDC, the pharmaceutical companies, the WHO, etc.

And I reject the Big Bang theory for pretty much the same reasons :)

A few years ago we were told to "trust the science".

And those people were liars, they didn't reveal the actual science which was 100% contrary to their false claims.

Science is the study of nature, and that includes all that exists.

Do you not believe in Chemistry, Math, or Physics?
