Here you are mistaken. The Israelites, not the Jews, attacked the Amalekites. Huge difference.
God is actually not evil, so ok, evil is not part of God, but part of the Destructor, who also exists. The Israelites were not Muslim, Hindu, or anything other than Jewish. When one is angry, one recovers from that emotional state. Anger is a state of weakness. At least that is what I argue. The big bang is a theory that DOES fit into the biblical words of "let there be light". HOW that light was created is still a mystery and up to debate. No the Bible doesn't explain everything.
