The only gold in Ft. Knox is the 90%mpure gold from melted coins. The FED took the gold as collateral on the U.S. debt. It is in the sub-basement of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and is enough to fill three Olympic sixed swimming pools.

But has the FED leased the gold out? Germany wanted to repatriate its gold and Bernanke told them it would take 10 years to get them their gold. ;)
