When we worked the concerts in Chicago back in the 80s and 90s, we would mess with the groupies. These were the people that loved the band but did not have connections for back stage passes.

First, we would tell them, "We might be able to get you back stage." And they would say, "Really?"

Then we would say, "Yeah. And we might even let you speak into the microphone." And they would say, "Wow!" ROTFLOL
