This bold move intends to reallocate funds towards priorities such as border security and developing an “Iron Dome” defense system for the United States. The proposed cuts would amount to approximately $50 billion annually, which will be redirected to programs aligned with Trump’s defense strategies.

The total military spending last year for the US was $1.51 trillion. $887 billion for DOD and the rest for 6 other agencies. We have 750 plus overseas bases. We will eed some naval and air stations and stores of military supplies. But we can cancel 500 plus overseas bases. We need to keep Diego Garcia and quite a few more.
