The first drone jamming system Titan based on artificial intelligence has been developed in Russia and will be tested in late February. The system is equipped with a laser module with an operating range of 3 km, the press office of the United Russia Party said on Friday.
"United Russia Central Executive Committee Head Alexander Sidyakin presented Russias first drone jamming system Titan based on AI to United Russia Party Chairman Dmitry Medvedev. As of now, it has already been upgraded not only with a physical impact complex but also with a laser module with an operational range of 3 km. This is one of the patented innovations of the Center of Unmanned Systems and Technologies. The tests will run in late February, after which the Russian army will use the system in the area of the special military operation," the press office said in a statement.
The idea of the drone suppression system originated during discussions of the issues of protecting civilian infrastructure from terrorist attacks, Sidyakin added.
