Try explaining to these people how Teddy Roosevelt first stepped onto the national (meaning Federal, in this narrative) political stage as a progressive/reformer ala Al Smith, and then went bonkers on solidifying U.S. War Treasures, and somehow just ended up being for ever larger government.

One of my hens laid a feirie egg today 10 grams, by the color of the egg it was a Rhode Island Red that laid it, first in five or six months. Sometimes they will forget to apply the outer shell.
