The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) had been using taxpayer dollars to fund a study on the bowel movements of women who identify as men.

The grant, awarded to Louisiana’s Southern University Agricultural & Mechanical College, was uncovered by the American Principles Project (APP), a conservative policy organization that tracks government spending.

Following the revelation, Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins, appointed under President Donald Trump, moved quickly to cancel the funding and publicly thanked APP for bringing the issue to light.
