Eric Prince is confused over how the Soviet Union fell. Firstly, their misadventure in Afghanistan bankrupted them (We were sending Stinger missiles to the Mujahideen.)
But Prince is unaware of the fact Heinrich Mueller was brought to the U.S. under Operation Paperclip in 1946. Mueller had escaped to Switzerland at the end of the war.
U.S. representatives went there to interrogate him in 1946. They asked him about Hitler. Mueller replied, "You could try Spain." Then he added, "Perhaps the Russians can go there and ask Franco about him. They might end up buried in an orange grove." Then he told the Americans, "And if you went there you might end up in the next orange grove over."
They brought Mueller from Switzerland to the U.S., gave him a rank of Major in the U.S. Army and he played the piano for Harry Truman.
The reason Mueller was brought here is his specialty was Soviet counterintelligence. And we all know where the Soviet Union is today.
George Patton found out Hitler was allowed to escape to Spain and he would not go along with it. That is why Patton was eliminated.
Operation Paperclip brought German scientists and technology to the U.S. This is why Werner von Braun, the rocket scientist came to the U.S.
JFK had been briefed about von Braun and in his inaugural address said, "We choose to go to the moon." ;)
