My Mom is pretty much a low information leftist apparatchik, but I love her nonetheless.

I did manage to break the spell a little today when I brought up the ACLU insisting on convicted murderer get elective sex-change surgery at taxpayer expense. Guessing "The View" either spun or entirely skipped over that one.
